
Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with Little Driving Co. By completing a booking form and paying the deposit, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

1. Definitions
1.1 “Little Driving Co”, “we”, “us”, or “our” refers to Little Driving Co, a sole trader operating in England.
1.2 “Customer”, “you” or “your” refers to the person making the booking.
1.3 “Event” refers to the party or hire period booked.
1.4 “Equipment” refers to all ride-on vehicles, batteries, controllers, props, and accessories supplied.

2. Booking Process
2.1 All bookings are subject to availability and begin with an email enquiry.
2.2 We will confirm availability, venue suitability, and any applicable travel costs before issuing a booking form.
2.3 A booking is only confirmed once:
A completed booking form is received, and
A £100 deposit has been paid
2.4 Until both are received, the date remains available to other customers.

3. Deposit & Payment Terms
3.1 A £100 deposit is required to secure the booking.
3.2 The deposit acts as both:
A booking deposit, and
A damage waiver for the supplied equipment
3.3 Deposits must be paid via bank transfer or PayPal.
3.4 The remaining balance must be paid no later than 14 days before the event date.
3.5 Failure to pay the balance on time may result in cancellation of the booking and loss of the deposit.

4. Deposit Refund & Damage
4.1 Normal wear and tear of vehicles and props is expected.
4.2 If all equipment is returned in good condition, the deposit will be refunded within 5 working days of the event.
4.3 Damage considered to be deliberate, reckless, or avoidable may result in the deposit being partially or fully retained.
4.4 Little Driving Co’s decision regarding damage is final.

5. Party Duration & Battery Life
5.1 Party duration is selected by the customer at the time of booking.
5.2 Due to battery limitations, we strongly recommend a maximum party length of 2 hours.
5.3 Reduced battery performance may occur:
During outdoor use
On uneven surfaces
On grass or bumpy ground
5.4 No refunds will be issued due to reduced battery life caused by conditions outside our control.

6. Vehicles, Props & Substitutions
6.1 Each package includes a set number of vehicles and props as advertised.
6.2 We reserve the right to substitute vehicles or props if required due to damage, breakdown, or safety concerns.
6.3 Any substitutions will not reduce the number of vehicles supplied.

7. Age Limits & Supervision
7.1 There is no minimum age.
7.2 The maximum permitted age is 7 years.
7.3 Parental supervision is required at all times, regardless of whether staff supervision is selected.
7.4 Vehicles may be driven by children or operated using supplied remote controllers.
7.5 Optional staff supervision must be selected during the booking process.

8. Venue Requirements
8.1 The venue must be provided and booked by the customer.
8.2 A minimum recommended space of 10m x 10m is advised for safe operation.
8.3 Equipment may be used in smaller spaces at the customer’s discretion; however, Little Driving Co accepts no liability for restricted operation due to limited space.
8.4 The venue must be safe, flat, and suitable for children’s ride-on vehicles.
8.5 We reserve the right to modify or refuse setup if the venue is deemed unsafe.

9. Indoor & Outdoor Use
9.1 Vehicles may be used indoors or outdoors in fair weather conditions only.
9.2 Outdoor events are weather dependent.
9.3 If an outdoor event cannot proceed due to weather conditions, no refund will be given.

10. Travel Charges
10.1 Travel charges may apply if the venue is not local to Little Driving Co.
10.2 Any additional mileage costs will be clearly communicated and agreed prior to booking confirmation.

11. Cancellations by the Customer
11.1 All cancellations must be made in writing.
11.2 Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event date will receive a full refund of the deposit.
11.3 Cancellations made within 30 days of the event date will receive no refund.

12. Cancellations by Little Driving Co
12.1 Every effort will be made to ensure events go ahead as planned.
12.2 In the unlikely event that Little Driving Co must cancel, a full refund of all payments made will be issued.
12.3 No additional compensation will be offered.

13. Safety Rules & Conduct
13.1 Only one child per vehicle is permitted, unless the vehicle is designed for multiple riders.
13.2 Children must not:
Eat or drink while using vehicles
Climb on top of vehicles
Climb into non-seating areas
Use equipment in a dangerous or reckless manner
13.3 Parents are responsible for ensuring all safety rules are followed.

14. Liability
14.1 Little Driving Co holds public liability insurance.
14.2 All equipment is checked prior to use.
14.3 The supervising parent(s) accept full responsibility for children using the equipment.
14.4 Little Driving Co accepts no liability for injury resulting from misuse, lack of supervision, or failure to follow instructions.

15. Right to End the Event
15.1 We reserve the right to end an event early if safety rules are ignored or behaviour is unsafe.
15.2 No refunds will be given if an event is ended early for safety reasons.

16. Setup, Collection & Access
16.1 We require:
1 hour prior to the event for setup
30 minutes after the event for collection
16.2 Clear access for loading and unloading must be available during these times.
16.3 Delays caused by restricted access are not the responsibility of Little Driving Co.

17. Acceptance of Terms
17.1 Submission of a booking form and payment of the deposit confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
17.2 These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings unless otherwise agreed in writing.
